I disagree about all furniture feet on the rug being preferable. With a sofa, I think it looks better with the back feet off the rug. As in the photo. You need to break the “frame” of the rug with at least one piece.
Where I see people getting rug size wrong most often is under dining tables.
Agree with everything here. My ceiling lights are for one thing: making sure I don't miss anything when I vacuum.
My biggest pet peeve is walking into somebody’s home and seeing oversized furniture, particularly sofas, in small rooms. Ugh!
